Artist Statement: The Floral Necklace Series came to me from observing nature, where plant life in particular represents the ultimate perfection of design and function. To achieve what I imagine I use glass, which is comprised of minerals, in order to have the palette of colors, blends, translucency and surface textures appropriate for each piece.
