Artist Statement: These ornamental hairpins are inspired by a fairy tale about a woodcutter and a fairy. The shortest pin represents fairies taking a bath. The middle pin represents a woodcutter and a fairy happily married. The longest pin represents a fairy going to the sky with her children.

Artist Statement: The leaves of a laurel crown or wreath with overlapping and movable elements provided my design inspiration for this work. An endless palette of green reflects my surroundings, where a dense woods are an intricate puzzle of leaves.
