GLORIA STEWART

Gloria started as a bench jeweler while attending the University of New Mexico, and her portfolio quickly expanded to include commissioned designs and sculptures. Since 1973 she has been creating jewelry in gold, platinum and silver media, using soft injection wax—a technique that gives her the spontaneity that she feels can’t be found in hard wax. Gloria’s work has been featured in numerous industry periodicals, and she has won countless prestigious design awards. During her career she has been a partner in and owner of galleries across the Southwest and currently creates commissioned pieces in Dallas, Texas. Gloria is comfortable in her current career stage, “At this point in my career I have found a  perfect balance of work, learning, and passing on some of my knowledge to the next generation of creative jewelers and designers,” she says.
