SCOTT BRADFORD

Scott Bradford, an expert in casting, rapid-prototyping and CAD design as well as general bench, fabrication, repair practices, and watchmaking, started in the industry making high-end engagement and custom jewelry in Dallas, Texas. In working with rapid prototyping machines, Scott has done extensive research in successfully casting with 3D-printed resins and regularly shares his expertise in presentations, classes and lectures at numerous industry events including the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America Show in New York, the Society of North American Goldsmiths conference, and the Portland Jewelry Symposium on topics related to CAD design and manufacturing with rapid-prototyping equipment. Scott joined the Rio Grande Jewelry Technical Support team in 2015. Since then, he has enjoyed working with the diverse community of jewelers that make up its worldwide family. "Whether they are a beginner or a veteran in the industry, we share a common passion, and it's a great opportunity to learn from one another," he says. "It's been an amazing experience to be a part of such a talented and knowledgeable team whose members come from so many different backgrounds."
